67th Annual Tekakwitha Conference -- July 19 - 23 -- Seattle, Washington
Dedicated to Blessed Kateri Tekakwitha, Lily of the Mohawks
Participants from all over the globe join in this annual event to promote the
canonization of this Native American woman. The conference offers workshops
on Catholicism, spiritual practice, healing, and native culture.
Mara will present several workshops at this event, addressing all age levels
-- from children to seniors. The theme of her presentations will be the
connection between Eastern and Native American philosophy through the practice of
yoga.
